Complimentary webinar: The New Saudi Product Safety Programme (SALEEM) and Obligations for Textile Products
Starting from 1 January 2019, the conformity programme by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has been replaced by the Saudi Product Safety Program (SALEEM). With this change, SASO developed a new online portal, SABER system, to facilitate entry procedures to Saudi Arabia. The implementation of SALEEM and SABER will apply to all textile and clothing products that are within the scope of the Technical Regulation of Textile Products 02-05-18-164 M.A and will begin starting 1 December.
In view of this implementation, this 1-hour webinar will include the major new requirements of the SALEEM and SABER processes and highlight how TÜV SÜD can support importers and brands in this process.
